Changes to Shopify Billing from 01 June 2017

Shopify and uAfrica have updated how you’re billed for your Shopify store. Starting June 1, 2017, all charges, including subscription fees, will be charged in US dollars (USD) through Shopify. Your subscription fee will be the US dollar (USD) equivalent to your current South African Rand (ZAR) fee.  All charges from before June 1, 2017 are still payable through uAfrica.

Other than billing, your Shopify service is unchanged.  To log in to your Shopify store, please head over to Shopify and use your usual credentials.  If your details are not recognised, please use the ‘forgot password’ link to reset it.

Billing changes to note: 

  1. If you need to add a credit card into Shopify, please log in and go to 'Settings > Account' to add a valid credit or cheque card.
  2. If you have already added a credit card into Shopify, there is nothing further you need to do, billing will commence directly with Shopify from 01 June.
  3. If you have been billed via direct debit for your Shopify store, please get in touch with our support team for further information.
